Youmiat Imra’h
يوميات امرأة
Dr. Lina Al-Homsi could, in this collection of stories, convey through her lines the diaries of a (wife), a (daughter), a (grandmother), a (patient woman), a (female student), a (female judge), etc.
This may be a natural thing.
However, she also could narrate diaries of a female addict, a female smoker, a female with AIDS, a prostitute, and other models that one would find it difficult to explore and discover their way of thinking and the nature of their feelings.
Here lies the importance of what Dr. Lina did when she narrated the diaries of that group of women.
This collection of stories is not the first that Dr. Lina has published, as she has previously published (America Swallowed him), (Once Upon a Time) and (People’s Stories), in addition to (The Diaries of Fahim and Sarhan) which is addressed to children.
In all her stories, Dr. Lina aimed at conveying high-class educational concepts in an interesting way which would raise problems and suggest possible solutions as well, after showing the reasons that led to the occurrence of these problems.
Dr. Lina Al-Homsi is a holder of a Ph.D. in Islamic Sharia and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She is a university professor and psychologist. She is also a conversant, a caller to Allah and an educator.
