Functions in Grammar

The Arabic language is one of the most useful and benefitial arts, and it is one of the most important basic sciences that a Muslim and researcher in the meanings of the Book and the Sunnah needs, because it includes evidence of grammar, morphology, rhetoric, and the science of meanings, eloquence, and science of beauty, by which we know the conditions, status, structures, characteristics of Arabic meanings and the adantages that makes it outweigh other languages.
The factor in the language is the influencer, and in idiomatic terms, it is what enjoins (requirs) by having the end of the word in a specific condition for grammar.
In other words, it is the meaning necessitated by syntax.
Some of the most famous books of factors are the Book of Factors in Grammar by Hassan Bin Ahmad Al-Farisi, the Book of Factors in Grammar by Ali Bin Faddal Al-Majashi’i Al-Qayrawani, and the Book of the Hundred Factors of Grammar by Abdul Qaher Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jurjani.
This text is taught at the Sharia schools in Islamic countries, and students often memorized this text because they considered it one of the important and essential texts in their studies, as the proficient student must memorize and study this text.
