The importance of this study stems from the importance of the book it deals with, which is (Minhaj al-Talibin) (The Students’ Course) by Imam Al-Nawawi. It is neither long nor short, as it is between the long books of Jurisprudence by Al-Shafi’i his brief ones.

Imam Al-Nawawi’s book ( al-Minhaj) received the attention of the great scholars in terms of explanation, grammar, commentary, summerization and writing, for its importance in the doctrine.

The (Minhaj)’s words and terminology have been explained in this study in order to facilitate and simplify meanings for students.

As for the method of writing this study, it is as follows:
1- Introducing the author of this study, as I adopted the biography by Sheikh Ismail Othman Zain
2- I started Sheikh Ismail’s comments by saying: (The Sheikh said), and I gave my comments.
3- What I added to the text of the study was placed between two brackets ( ) to distinguish it from the text.
4- I included a table at the end of the study, which contains the words of the (Minhaj) in alphabetical order with their meanings or indications next to them.
