Philosophy has different main branches and divisions, the most important of which are: ontology or the study of existence, metaphysics, philosophy of science, epistemology, philosophy of politics, and philosophy of aesthetics.
Each of these types has its own studies, position, and topics that are almost specific.
Some philosophers’ interest and focus were on one of the branches other than the others.
Theory is a term that is generally applied to what clarifies things and phenomena and gives explanation that does not depend on reality.
As for knowledge, it is perception, and to know a thing means to perceive it by the senses or otherwise.
Knowledge is the realizing of things in absolute terms, whether by perception or belief.
